A 10-minute grace period may be allowed at our discretion.
Arrivals more than 10 minutes late may require service adjustments or rescheduling.
Arrivals 15 minutes or more late may be canceled and treated as a no-show, and the no-show policy may apply.
Drop-Off Policy (On-Time Drop-Off Required)
Dolly Dog Co. operates by appointment only and has limited holding space. To maintain a calm, safe environment, pets must be dropped off at their scheduled appointment time.
Please arrive no more than 10 minutes early.
Drop-offs that are more than 10 minutes early may be asked to return closer to your scheduled appointment time due to limited space and scheduled check-in times.
If you need to drop off outside of this window, please contact us in advance. Early drop-off is not guaranteed and may require scheduling an extended stay when available.
Pick-Up Policy
Grooming times vary based on coat condition, behavior, and each pet’s individual needs. To allow services to be completed safely and without disruption, clients must wait for pickup notification before arriving.
Clients will receive a text when their pet is approximately 15 minutes away from being ready.
Once grooming is complete, pets must be picked up within 1 hour. Pets not picked up within this window may be placed in a lounge kennel and extended stay fees will apply.
Extended Stay Policy
Extended stay options may be available by request and with prior approval, based on space and staffing availability.
If an extended stay is scheduled or approved in advance, the following fees apply:
Half-day stay (up to 3 hours): $20
Full-day stay (up to 5 hours): $35
Availability is not guaranteed, and all extended stays are subject to approval.
Abandoned Pet Policy
If a pet is not picked up after closing and we are unable to reach the owner or emergency contacts, the pet may be considered abandoned.
Reasonable attempts will be made to contact the owner and listed emergency contacts.
Pets left without contact for 24 hours may be surrendered to a local animal shelter or animal control, in accordance with local regulations.
The owner remains responsible for all accrued fees, including grooming, extended stay, boarding, care, and any costs associated with surrender.

Special Handling Policy
At Dolly Dog Co. LLC, we welcome pets of all ages, temperaments, and needs. We understand that some dogs require extra patience and care during grooming, whether due to age, medical conditions, anxiety, or behavioral concerns. Our priority is to make every pet as comfortable as possible while maintaining safety for them and our team.
1. Senior & Fragile Pets
We take extra precautions with older pets and those with health conditions. However:
• Grooming can be stressful for senior dogs or pets with heart conditions, arthritis, or other medical issues.
• Despite gentle handling, older pets may be at higher risk for fatigue, stress, or medical episodes during or after grooming.
• Dolly Dog Co. LLC is not responsible for any health complications that may arise due to age or pre-existing conditions.
2. Pets with Anxiety or Behavioral Concerns
We strive to make grooming a positive experience, but:
• If a pet becomes highly anxious, aggressive, or unmanageable, we may need to adjust the service, take breaks, or discontinue the groom for their safety and ours.
• We may recommend desensitization sessions or working with a trainer before attempting another groom.
• If a pet bites or injures a staff member, the owner may be responsible for any medical costs incurred.
3. Sedation & Medical Care
• Sedation refers to the use of any medication or chemical substance that induces a calming effect, drowsiness, or unconsciousness in your pet to facilitate grooming. This includes medications such as tranquilizers, sedatives, or anesthesia prescribed by a veterinarian.
• If your pet has been sedated or requires sedation for grooming, you must inform us ahead of time for each grooming appointment.
• We do not administer sedation under any circumstances. If your pet requires sedation, you must arrange this with your veterinarian before the appointment.
• If a pet experiences a medical emergency during grooming, we will attempt to contact you. If we cannot reach you, we will seek veterinary care at your expense.
4. Special Handling Fee
At Dolly Dog Co. LLC, we aim to provide a safe and positive grooming experience for every pet. However, some pets may require additional care and attention due to behavioral issues, medical conditions, or physical limitations. An extra fee may be applied if the pet requires special handling, which may be identified during the grooming process.
Examples of special handling situations include, but are not limited to:
• Aggressive behavior
• Excessive matting
• Anxiety or fear-based behavior
• Medical conditions requiring additional care
• Pets that require extra time due to size or coat condition
The fee may be applied as needed, and the owner agrees to pay the fee if applicable.
5. Owner Responsibility & Agreement
By signing this waiver when scheduling appointment, I acknowledge that I have disclosed any known medical conditions, behavioral concerns, or special needs my pet has. I understand that:
• Dolly Dog Co. LLC will do its best to keep my pet safe and comfortable.
• My pet’s behavior, health, and response to grooming may affect the outcome of the appointment.
• I agree to hold Dolly Dog Co. LLC and its staff harmless from any liability, claims, or expenses related to grooming services provided under these conditions.
We appreciate your trust and will always do our best to accommodate your pet’s individual needs!
Liability Waiver
At Dolly Dog Co. LLC, your pet’s well-being is our top priority. We take every precaution to provide a safe, comfortable, and positive grooming experience. However, grooming involves certain risks, and we want to ensure that you fully understand them before we proceed.
1. Understanding Grooming Risks
We handle every pet with care and patience, but:
• Grooming tools, equipment, and handling techniques may occasionally cause minor nicks, irritation, or stress-related reactions.
• Sometimes, grooming reveals pre-existing conditions such as skin irritations, infections, or parasites that were not visible before. While we do our best to notice and inform you, we are not responsible for underlying health issues.
• We aim for the best possible results, but each pet’s coat, condition, and behavior can affect the final outcome.
2. In Case of a Medical Emergency
Your pet’s health is important to us. If a medical emergency arises while in our care:
• We will make every effort to contact you immediately.
• If we cannot reach you, we will seek veterinary care at your expense to ensure your pet gets the help they need.
• While we act with your pet’s best interest at heart, Dolly Dog Co. LLC cannot be held responsible for the outcome of any medical treatment.
3. Behavior & Special Considerations
We understand that some pets may feel nervous or unsure about grooming.
• If your pet shows significant fear, stress, or aggression, we may need to pause or discontinue services for their safety and ours.
• Senior pets and those with medical conditions may be more sensitive to grooming. While we take extra precautions, we cannot be responsible for health complications that may arise.
4. Matting & Coat Condition
We know that mats happen! However:
• Matting can be uncomfortable and even painful for your pet. In severe cases, the safest option may be shaving.
• Removing mats can sometimes cause skin irritation, bruising, or nicks, even when done carefully.
• Dolly Dog Co. LLC is not responsible for any reactions due to mat removal, but we will always do our best to keep your pet comfortable.
5. Our Commitment to Your Pet
Our goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and well-cared for. By signing below, you acknowledge that you understand the risks involved in pet grooming and agree to hold Dolly Dog Co. LLC and its staff harmless from any liability, claims, or expenses related to grooming services.
We truly appreciate your trust in us and look forward to making your pet look and feel their best!
Flea & Tick Policy
At Dolly Dog Co. LLC, the health and well-being of your pet are our top priority. To ensure the safety and comfort of all pets in our care, if fleas or ticks are found on your pet during grooming, the pet will be treated immediately. This treatment is mandatory and is not optional.
1. Owner Responsibility
• As part of responsible pet care, we recommend that pet owners regularly treat their pets for fleas and ticks as part of their overall health maintenance. This is important for the well-being of your pet and to help maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all pets in our care.
2. Mandatory Flea & Tick Treatment
• If fleas or ticks are found during the grooming process, we will immediately administer a flea and tick bath to treat the issue. This treatment will be charged to the owner at the time of the appointment.
3. Liability
• While we take all necessary precautions to avoid the spread of fleas and ticks, Dolly Dog Co. LLC is not responsible for any flea or tick issues discovered during grooming.
• The owner agrees to hold Dolly Dog Co. LLC and its staff harmless for any flea or tick-related issues discovered during or after grooming.
4. Right to Refuse Service
• Dolly Dog Co. LLC reserves the right to refuse service if a pet is found to have a significant flea or tick infestation.
Thank you for helping us maintain a safe, healthy, and pest-free environment for all pets in our care!
