🐾 How Our Appointments Work

We know grooming day can be exciting (and sometimes a little busy!), so here’s how appointments run at Dolly Dog Co. 

⏰ Scheduled Drop-Offs

We often have several dogs scheduled to arrive at the same time. Once your pup is checked in, we begin working through our schedule in the order that best supports a calm, stress-free environment for everyone. This helps us balance the day smoothly and give each pet the time and care they deserve. 

🧼 A Calmer Grooming Experience

We work at each dog’s pace and provide breaks between grooming steps as needed. This allows pups time to relax and reset, making the process less stressful for them. Because of this, your dog may be with us a little longer than you're used to, but we’ve found this approach helps us bond better and leads to an overall easier, more positive visit. 

📲 We’ll Let You Know When They’re Ready

Please wait to come in until we contact you to let you know your dog is ready for pickup. Early arrivals can distract the dogs and make it difficult to safely finish the grooming process. We’ll reach out as soon as your pup is complete and ready to go home, so you never need to wonder when to come back. 

⚡ Need a Faster Turnaround?

If you're on a tight schedule or need your dog done by a specific time, we offer rush appointments when possible.
Please note: Rush appointments come with an additional fee.
Reach out ahead of time so we can do our best to accommodate your needs.

🏘️ Helping Us Be Good Neighbors

We share our space with other businesses, and part of our goal is to keep the environment calm and respectful for everyone around us.
If you know your dog is a barker or gets easily overstimulated, please let us know when booking or at drop-off. This allows us to make thoughtful adjustments, like scheduling a rush appointment or booking during quieter hours when our neighbors may be closed.

Helpful tip: If your pup does well with calming treats or supplements, go ahead and give it to them before arriving so it has time to take effect.
