Hey there! I’m Kara Sterner, the founder and experienced pet groomer behind Dolly Dog Co. LLC
Dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Before I ever picked up a pair of grooming shears, I earned my dog training certification through Animal Behavior College, thinking that was the path I’d take. But the moment I stepped into grooming, I knew I’d found where I truly belonged. Over 14 years later, I still love what I do-helping dogs look and feel their best while making grooming a positive experience for them.Dolly Dog Co. isn’t just a business to me, it’s personal. The name comes from Dolly, the German Shepherd my dad had when my parents got together when I was three years old. She was my first best friend, and now her name lives on in a place where every dog is treated like family. With over 20 years of combined experience between my staff and me, we’re here to provide high-quality care in a space where your dog’s well-being always comes first.Grooming isn’t just about the haircut, it’s about trust. I know every dog is different, and I believe in giving them the time they need to feel safe and comfortable. Whether they’re a old pro or a little nervous, I want every pup to leave feeling better than when they came in.When I’m not at the salon, I’m with my son Sylas, one or more of my siblings,other family, or my friends-usually in the middle of some kind of chaos, because "if it ain’t chaos, it ain’t Kara." I love cooking for the people I care about. Whether it’s a big meal or just an excuse to bring everyone together, you can find me in the kitchen making a mess to make memories. You’ll also find me playing darts with my brother, hanging around a fire in my back yard, cracking (hilarious) dad jokes, or soaking in the little moments with my nieces and nephews.And then there’s Squid-my French Bulldog, my heart dog, and my shadow. The universe (with a little push from Lea and Jerry) knew I needed him before I did, and he showed up at just the right time. He’s proof that sometimes; life knows exactly what we need way before we do. If you come into the salon, you will probably see (or hear) Squid. He is convinced that you are here just for him!I can’t wait to see you and your best friends and welcome you all to the Dolly Dog Co. family!

Cally Fleming

Experienced Pet Groomer

Hello! I’m Cally Fleming, and I’m excited to introduce myself as your new dog groomer! I grew up in Oregon, then made a big move to Tennessee with my husband in 2019. Now, I’m thrilled to call Casper home!

I’ve been grooming dogs since January 2018, and I trained in Oregon to become a certified Professional Dog Groomer through the International Pet Grooming Association. I’m also certified in pet CPR, so you can be rest assured your furry friend is in good hands.

Over the years, I’ve developed a special love for grooming terriers and poodles. There’s something incredibly satisfying about the technical aspects of their grooms, and I always strive to make each pup look and feel their best.

When I’m not at the grooming table, you can find me outdoors-whether I’m hunting, fishing, hiking, or just enjoying a good book in the sun. I truly believe that a happy dog comes from a happy groomer, and I can’t wait to meet your pup and make grooming a positive experience for them!

Ellice Pettis

Experienced Pet Groomer

Hi! I’m Ellice, and I’m a Dog and Cat Groomer at Dolly Dog Co.

I’ve been grooming professionally for over 3 years, and I attended grooming school in Las Vegas where I received my certification in 2023. Grooming has truly become both my passion and my creative outlet. I specialize in working with both dogs and cats, and I’m especially passionate about creative grooming, including color work and coat carving, to bring out each pet’s unique personality.

My goal with every appointment is to create a calm, positive experience where pets feel safe, understood, and cared for. Whether your pet needs a full transformation or just a tidy-up, I take the time to customize each groom to fit their individual needs.

I also love continuing my education by attending grooming seminars and learning new techniques, because I truly believe you never stop growing in this industry.

When I’m not in the salon, I enjoy spending time with my family and working on art projects. I’m passionate about what I do and can’t wait to meet you and your pet!

Tristen Gifford

Experienced Pet Groomer

Hi, I’m Tristen! I have been grooming dogs for more than 5 years and it has truly become my passion. I am Pet CPR certified and also trained in canine body language, which means I always focus on creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pup in my care.

Grooming is not just about appearance to me. It is about giving each pet a calm, positive experience so they can leave looking their best and feeling relaxed. Whether it is a breed standard cut or a simple tidy up, I take pride in customizing each groom to fit the needs of every dog.

When I am not in the salon, I am a proud mom to my wonderful kids. Caring for both my family and the pets I work with brings me so much joy, and I am grateful to spend my days doing what I love.
